Ministry Resource
Purpose: Making mission happen.
Tasks:
1. To initiate and support innovative new mission within the Synod area.
2. To support the work of the Synod’s Mission Advisor, the National Mission Enabler and any other associated ministries within the Synod’s region, and to be mindful of the work of the Knox Centre for Christian Leadership and the National Church office.
3. To provide support to parish leaders, youth workers and their spouses, within the Synod area.
4. To communicate with Presbyteries about their mission initiatives and the work of this committee.
5. To foster ongoing discussion on future directions for mission.
6. To provide limited seed funding for projects within the Synod area approved by the committee.
